About me
Dr. Michelle Homer Anderson has spent almost 25 years working with children and families. She is currently Regional Health Specialist for the Region 10 Training and Technical Assistance Team where she supports recipients to provide high quality health, nutrition, mental health, and disability services. She facilitates a regional Health Manager Network, Mental Health Leaders Network, and, co-facilitates a Disability and Inclusion Network. She provides both virtual and in-person TTA across the region for individual recipients and at larger group events. Prior to her work with TTA she was the Health Director and then program Director for a large recipient in Oregon. During her tenure there she served on many local community advisory committees, task forces, and boards; state level service including the Oregon’s Educator Advancement Council early childhood representative; and Head Start specific service including Oregon Head Start Association as an Executive Board member; Vice President, and Region 10 HSA Director Representative. Prior to her Head Start service she had a private medical practice with a focus on serving children on the autism spectrum.
